I am a previsualization shot creator that can create shots by positioning and animating cameras, and animating characters using Maya. I work well in team environments and have a good understanding of rigging and modeling.

Previsualization Shot Creator

Hi, I’m Leila, and I am currently teaching myself animation and previsualization and have many other skills such as rigging, modeling, and texturing.

I am currently working on a project where I am creating previs shots for a fight scene that you can read about here. I am always working on improving my skills and love refining my work from the feedback I get.

Before starting to learn previs, I got a degree in video game development and got the opportunity to learn about the different aspects of the video game development process by working on many team based projects. For example here is a game that I rigged all of the characters for.

If you want someone on your team who's excited to conceptualize, block out, and animate previsualization shots contact me!

📜 Projects

I created previs for Captain America: The First Avenger based on storyboards I found online.

My goal with this project was to learn more about animation and cinematography

I created my own camera rigs in Maya.

I made these so that I could use them when creating previs in Maya, so I could look at cinematography from a more technical perspective.

I worked on an art asset team and created rigs for three indie games.

In total, I rigged nineteen characters across all three games and made several custom biped rigs, one quadruped rig, and a larva rig.

I modeled and did motion capture for a character that I designed.

My final goal for this project was to create a short video of my character moving using motion capture and render it all in two weeks.
